The MAiZE, a puzzle of twists, turns, and dead ends carved into 12 acres of cornstalks over your head, offers a unique experience that is soon to be the hottest craze around!
The MAiZE is the perfect activity for those hungry for fun. Finding the one and only way out of the cornfield labyrinth is never as easy as it seems, and your friends will enjoy the challenge of being first to find their way out of the puzzle - especially at night in the dark! Containing more than three miles of twists and turns, most participants spend an average of one hour trying to maneuver their way to the correct exit of the labyrinth.

So don't worry about a thing. I mean, it's not like clowns are scary anyway. Why just look at one of our clowns below....wouldn't hurt a fly.
So come walk by the light of the moon or use a glow stick to navigate your way and maybe you will find one of our nice friendly clowns who are just dying to meet you...all alone....in the dark...in a confusing corn maze where you can't easily get away.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is it scary?
A: Normally, the MAiZE is not scary (maybe a little eerie at night). Starting in October, a portion of the maze is haunted with live ghoulish creatures (you may choose to bypass this area if you want to). Come walk by the light of the moon or use a glow stick to navigate your way through the FIELD OF SCREAMS. Spooking will begin at dark and end at 10:00 pm.
Where can I get a coupon?
A: See Coupons
How long does it take?
A: An average trip through The Maize takes 1-2 hours.
What is the best time to arrive?
A: We will allow patrons in up to the listed closing times, but since it takes up to 1-2 hours to get through, we cannot admit anyone after that time.
Can we win free tickets?
A: Listen to Q93.
Do you offer group discounts?
A: Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more providing the reservation and rate is approved in advance. Call (318) 793-8112 and ask for Louis.
Is there a discount for small children?
A: Children under 5 are free.
Are you handicap accessible?
A: All the maze paths are relatively smooth dirt trails, but it is a long walk to get to the end.
Will it be open if it rains?
A: If it is bad weather, we will probably close. Please call Q93 at 473-0093 or Louis at 318-793-8112 if in doubt about the weather.
Is it the same as last year?
A: The Maize design changes every year.
Is it better than last year?
A: We constantly add new activities and attractions to The Maize every year.
What are the rules?
A:
1. Stay on the paths.
2. No Picking Or Throwing Corn
3. No Running
4. No Smoking
5. No Alcohol
6. No Tampering With Netting
7. No Littering
If these rules are broken, you (and your group) will be escorted out of The Maize!
Do you sell food, beverages and souvenirs at The Maize?
A: Yes! We sell everything from glow sticks to food to T-shirts.
What if I can't find my way out?
A: Throughout The Maize we have corn cops to help assist you if you need it. Look for the guys in the bright yellow shirts.
Can I cut through the corn?
A: We have placed netting up to preserve the corn and our hard work. Please stay on the paths and out of the corn and netting. When you cut through the paths, you shorten the life of the corn and cheat yourself out of solving the puzzle (as well as the money you spent to enter). If you are caught cheating, you and your group will be escorted out.
What should I wear?
A: Good walking shoes will help as well as light clothing.
Should I bring a flashlight?
A: You may want to bring a flashlight at night or we have glow products for sale.
You didn't answer my question.
A: If you have questions we didn't answer, e-mail us at info@midnightproduction.com and we will respond as soon as we can. If enough people ask the same question (or we just think it's an incredibly swell question) we add it to the FAQ list.

Agriculture plays an important role in our daily lives, yet how much do students really understand about how agriculture factors into what they do every day? Do students understand what goes into the food they eat, the clothes they buy, the games they play? Out of sight often times means out of mind and increasingly this important topic is not fully understood by many children because they have little exposure to agricultural settings.
This year The MAiZE—a puzzle carved into 12 acres of cornstalks over your head—is offering field trips in an effort to provide a unique, fun, educational activity to expose Louisiana’s children to “agriculture in the process.” The MAiZE offers students the opportunity to become acquainted with agriculture in an environment that is new and unusual for those who have little exposure to life on a farm. It allows students to be in the middle of a cornfield, learning about all that goes into raising crops while enjoying the experience of finding the maze’s one and only exit. The experience will also allow teachers the opportunity to educate children about concepts such as farming, nutrition, ecosystems and conservation through hand-on exposure to these principles.
Hands-on learning experiences are always best when students have been prepared for what they are about to encounter. Attached please find a teachers guide and activity sheet designed to help generate lesson ideas and activities that will challenge your students’ knowledge about agriculture. The MAiZE experience will help solidify and test students on the information learned in the classroom while making the subject matter applicable in real-life situations.
The MAiZE field trip experience will be available to first through eighth grade elementary and junior high classes. At the field trip site, employees will give a brief introduction to the maze, including how it was made and the agricultural principles behind it. Educational passports will be available for you and your students to lead you through a self-guided tour of the labyrinth. Ten stations corresponding to the 10 questions on the passport will be posted on the correct pathway out of the maze. Students will be instructed to turn left or right according to their answers to the agricultural questions posed to them on the passport. Correct answers will lead them through the pathways to the only exit. Students will get lost and have fun, learning about agriculture along the way. The MAiZE experience will last approximately 1 hour.
